At PH Academy of Dance, based in Harlow & Colchester,
Essex, we offer more than just children’s
dance classes, we offer a safe and empowering space
where young dancers of all backgrounds, abilities,
and identities can thrive.

Whether you're looking for kids dance classes that spark
joy or a school that nurtures both talent and wellbeing, PHAD is proud to lead with care.
We combine high-quality training, as well as more recreational style classes with a strong focus on both the mental and physical wellbeing of every dancer.

As a qualified mindset and wellbeing coach, our Principal Kim, actively works with examination boards and dance institutions to improve teaching methods and make the industry a safer, more inclusive space.
And Our Vice Principal, Melissa, brings her expertise as a nutrition and biomechanics specialist, ensuring every dancer is supported as a whole person, not just a performer.

We offer a four-week trial!
We know that choosing the right dance class is a big step, for both you and your child.
That’s why we offer a gentle four-week trial period, giving your child time to settle in, feel truly welcome, and explore their new environment at their own pace before any full commitment is needed.
This also allows us to make sure the class is the best fit for your child’s personality, needs, and goals, because every child deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported from the very first step.
