For those students who wish to explore another side of their dance training, our Class Assistant Training Scheme (C.A.T.S) awaits.

 

This exclusive programme, crafted by Miss Kim and Miss Melissa, is available only at PHAD, offering a unique opportunity for young dancers to expand their skills and knowledge.

Each term, we explore a different theme closely linked to our core values. Topics covered include:

• Goal Setting

• Health & Safety

• Nutrition

• Self-Values

• Teaching Methods

• Choreography

• Communication

• Resilience

• Physical Development

• Emotional Development

• Reflection

• Lesson Planning

 

Our programme includes written activities, research projects, reflective exercises, group discussions, weekly check-ins and hands-on teaching opportunities.

This multifaceted approach caters for all learning styles; allowing our class assistants to develop and hone their skills as dancers, choreographers, and young teachers.

As their confidence grows, our class assistants become invaluable assets within the school. They support Early Years classes and the Lower School across a range of genres, building beautiful relationships with our youngest dancers and inspiring them every week.
