Early Years, Ages 2.5 - 5 years

P.H.A.D Kidz

For the littlest dancers among us, aged 2.5 to 5 years, we proudly present PHAD Kidz, a pioneering Early Years Programme designed to ignite their passion for movement and foster their natural creativity in a nurturing environment.

Why is dance beneficial?

PHAD Kidz is a specially designed programme for Early Years children (2-6yrs old), to enrich their cognitive learning in their every day life through the power of music and dance.

The first 5 years of a child's life helps to shape the person they become and dance has proven to have many physical and mental benefits to help in their first 5 years of development such as;

  • Balance & poise

  • Coordination

  • Strength

  • Concentration

  • Confidence

  • Social skills

  • and much more.

We encourage them to explore their imagination and open up their senses with the use of various props and specially selected music and themes to enable them to have fun in every lesson.

What do we offer?

Each lesson will last 70 minutes and provides the opportunity to explore 20 minutes in each of the 3 different styles, with an additional 10 minutes of social time, making it the perfect way for your child to discover the styles they most enjoy:

  • Tap

  • Modern

  • Ballet

Each style provides the foundations of rhythm, musicality, spatial awareness, a variety of movement and proprioception. These genres are studied individually in a greater depth within our main Dance Academy and can later lead onto vocational training. Every week will follow a theme such as: A Teddy bears picnic A day at the park Going into outer Space and many more.... Use of themes allows children to connect with their imagination enhancing their learning and memory skills whilst using a variety of props and music.

Meet Charlie!

Charlie is quite cheeky and loves to explore the different places we go in our classes.

Every week Charlie brings in something new and exciting to learn through different letters of the alphabet, different colours and number and loves to teach the children to expand their vocabulary and knowledge.

Every week Charlie will watch the children's progress and they will select a child that has shown fantastic progress, no matter how small and they will get Charlie's Pawfect sticker.

Child Progression

We appreciate that every child's progression is as unique as their personality and PHAD Kidz is here to help enhance their learning at their own pace.

There is no emphasis on reaching goals within a particular time frame but we will celebrate each progression to continue to encourage them and every child will receive an end of term certificate to reward their hard work. We will assess each child's progress and when they are ready we will present them with a PHAD Kidz graduation certificate and an invitation letter in to the main P.H.A.D Academy in which they will be able to explore their dance genres further, take examinations and take part in various other dance opportunities.
